Scope and controller

GridPilot is a Selvola product operated by Erkan Bircan in Türkiye. Selvola is the controller for information processed through this website or direct support. Apple is an independent controller for App Store accounts, payments, tax, refunds, and related commerce records.

This policy covers the GridPilot macOS app, gridpilot.selvola.com, and direct GridPilot support. It does not cover Apple services, third-party apps, or websites and documents opened from a Profile.

Information processed on your Mac

GridPilot locally processes app identity, window position, size and visibility; a window title only when sibling windows must be distinguished; Profiles, snapshots, custom layouts and settings; and URLs or document references you explicitly add. This is on-device processing, not collection by Selvola.

A rotating diagnostic log remains in the app sandbox as a current file plus one previous file, each capped at about 2 MB. StoreKit entitlement state, purchases, restoration, and introductory offers are handled with Apple.

GridPilot does not read window contents, ordinary typing, passwords, clipboard data, browsing history, messages, contacts, photos, precise location, health data, or files you did not select. Window Automation moves requested windows through Apple Shortcuts. Optional Input Monitoring enables edge dragging. GridPilot does not require Screen Recording and never requests it.

Website, support, providers, and transfers

When you visit, hosting and edge-security providers process an IP address, browser and device details, request time, page, and security signals to deliver and protect the site. The legal basis where required is Selvola's legitimate interest in a reliable and secure service.

A language choice stays in browser storage. Direct support may include the name, email, message, and attachments you choose to send so Selvola can answer your request. Apple may provide limited commerce records needed for entitlement support, fraud prevention, accounting, tax, and legal compliance.

The site has no advertising or analytics cookies. Infrastructure may set strictly necessary security cookies such as Cloudflare's encrypted __cf_bm cookie. Providers may process data in the United States, Europe, or other operating locations using an applicable transfer mechanism where required.

Selvola does not sell personal information, share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, conduct targeted advertising, or use solely automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects.

Retention and deletion

Information is kept only for a defined purpose:

• Profiles and snapshots stay on your Mac until you delete them or choose Delete All Saved Workspace Data.
• Custom layouts and settings remain until removed, reset, or the app's sandbox data is cleared.
• Local diagnostics rotate at about 2 MB with one previous file.
• Website operational logs available to Selvola are kept no more than 30 days; providers may retain limited security records longer under their documented schedules.
• Support correspondence is kept up to 24 months after closure unless a dispute, security investigation, or law requires longer.
• Commerce, tax, and accounting records are kept for the period required by applicable law.

United States and European privacy rights

Everyone may ask what information Selvola controls about them and request correction or deletion. Selvola does not discriminate for exercising a privacy right.

Where applicable, U.S. state law may provide rights to know, access, correct, delete, or obtain a portable copy; opt out of qualifying sale, targeted advertising, or profiling; use an authorized agent; and appeal a denied request. GridPilot has no sale, sharing, or targeted-advertising activity to opt out of.

Where GDPR-style law applies in the EEA, United Kingdom, or Switzerland, you may request access, correction, erasure, restriction, or portability; object to legitimate-interest processing; withdraw consent where used; and complain to your local data-protection authority.

Children

GridPilot is a general-audience productivity tool and is not directed to children under 13. Selvola does not knowingly collect a child's personal information. Contact us if you believe a child sent information through support.

Security and policy changes

GridPilot uses Apple's App Sandbox, user-controlled macOS permissions, local storage, and StoreKit verification. No system can guarantee absolute security, but the absence of a developer workspace server materially reduces exposure.

Material changes will be posted here with a new effective date. Before any future collection begins, this policy and App Store privacy disclosures will be updated.

Privacy requests and questions

Email with “GridPilot privacy request” in the subject. Describe the request and the email used for support. Do not send passwords, payment-card details, Apple verification codes, or unredacted screenshots. We may request only what is reasonably needed to protect the requester and aim to respond within 30 days.
