GridPilot is not moving my windows

Open GridPilot and complete Window Automation setup. Review and add the bundled GridPilot Window Bridge in Apple Shortcuts, then allow GridPilot to control Shortcuts Events when macOS asks. Screen Recording is not required.

Do I need Input Monitoring?

Only for edge-drag detection and GridPilot’s global keyboard shortcuts. Menu-bar snapping, Smart Arrange, Profiles, and Layout Rescue continue to work without it.

What happens after the 7-day trial?

Pro features lock until you subscribe or buy Lifetime. Halves snapping remains free forever. Saved Profiles and layouts are not deleted, so they are available again whenever Pro is active.

What can a Profile reopen?

A Profile launches its configured apps and reopens the URLs and documents you explicitly added. macOS does not give utilities permission to recreate arbitrary unsaved documents or every private tab from another app.

A window changed size after a Profile was applied

Some apps choose their own minimum or default size after opening a new type of window. GridPilot does not keep fighting your windows after an apply finishes, so your own resize or full-screen choice always wins.

How do I restore purchases?

Open GridPilot → Upgrade to Pro → Restore Purchases. Subscriptions can be managed from your App Store account.

How do I delete saved workspace data?

Choose Profiles → Delete All Saved Workspace Data. This removes saved Profiles and Desktop Snapshots from your Mac. GridPilot does not keep a server copy.
